Did you ever loose your luggage and have to buy new clothes while on vacation?
Did you ever want to buy some local fashion at discount prices?
Did you ever have a spare vacation day with no place to go?
Did you ever want to find a way to offset the cost of your vacation with deep discount purchases?
Then why not go to an outlet mall while on vacation? Over the years my family did this not once, not twice, but practically all the time. We have purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise at outlet malls across the USA. In fact we now research in advance whether an outlet mall is near our upcoming vacation destination and schedule a half day to go shopping.
You will be surprised how merchandise and prices vary between outlet malls. Discounted Western wear may be the rage down in Texas, while discounted flip flops and tropical tee shirts are the fad in Hawaii. According to Mallseeker.com, California has the most outlet malls with 26, followed by Florida and Texas with 14 each. Pennsylvania comes in fourth with 12.
Some of our favorites are:
THE CROSSINGS, Tannersville Pa (in the Pocono Mountains)
TANGER OUTLET, Riverhead NY (Near the Hamptons)
CARLSBAD PREMIUM OUTLET, Carlsbad CA (Near Legoland)
ORLANDO PREMIUM OUTLET-VINELAND, Orlando FL (Near Downtown Disney Resort)
TANGER OUTLET CENTER, Westbrook, CT (Near Seaside Resort Towns)
TANGER OUTLET HERSHEY, Hershey, PA (Near Hershey Park Amusement Park)
Make a note to visit an outlet mall while on your next vacation. Then tell us about the bargains you found.
